Explore How The Global HTA Community Is Evolving Towards An Integrated Ecosystem
Join us for HTAi’s 14th Annual Meeting on June 17-21, 2017 at the Ergife Palace Hotel in Rome, Italy. HTAi welcomes those invested in the production and implementation of HTA from Italy, neighbouring countries and around the world.
Plenaries Confirmed Speakers Workshops
As the leading global discussion platform for those engaged in the efficient production and use of HTAs in decision-making, HTAi embraces all stakeholders, including researchers, agencies, policy makers, industry, academia, health service providers, and patients/consumers.
Our intention is to discover a deeper understanding of the benefits and challenges of different approaches and to foster collaboration in HTA. We will describe the interactions between HTA in macro, meso and micro decision-making levels. We will not only tackle integration between HTA and regulatory systems, but also challenge such macro interactions and their impact on meso and micro levels, such as hospitals and health care professionals. Further conversations will focus around a value-based paradigm in health care systems where we will define the role of HTA, discuss ways to engage professionals and how to garner the potential contributions of big data analysis. The role of multi-stakeholder involvement in facing the ethical dilemmas related to these interactions will also be explored.
Over the past few months, the committee has gathered to refine conference plenary themes and topics, and select invited speakers. We have also refined the abstract submission process to include new review criteria and we encourage those interested in submitting abstracts to review the submission guidelines. Presentations, selected by expert reviewers to ensure a truly global and high quality platform, will be in the form of plenary sessions, workshops, panel sessions, symposia, oral and poster presentations and vignettes.
We believe this meeting will create an environment for you to interact with colleagues from different countries, exchange ideas and expertise and grow new collaborations.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Rome!
